‘Revolutionary’ new NASA tracker will determine how dust storms impact climate change
Last year, NASA launched a new satellite-based instrument set to revolutionize how dust is detected across the globe. The Earth Surface Mineral Dust Source Investigation (EMIT) instrument could help researchers better predict dust storms, and gain information on how dust contributes to climate change.
