Chris Brown facing $50 million lawsuit over alleged assault at Texas concert

Four men have filed a lawsuit against singer-songwriter Chris Brown, his entourage and tour promoter Live Nation after allegedly being assaulted backstage following his “11:11” concert tour in Texas on July 21.

The lawsuit is seeking at least $50 million in damages and claims Brown and his pals violently attacked the men in an unprovoked incident, reported TMZ.

Larry Parker, Charles Bush, Joseph Lewis and Da Marcus Powell were at the event at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, and were invited backstage after the show to meet the 35-year-old singer, according to legal documents obtained by the outlet.

Bush said he congratulated Brown on a good show, but the interaction was followed by a member of Brown’s entourage reminding the singer the two used to be “beefing.”

The “Kiss Kiss” artist then allegedly responded: “Oh yeah, we were. What’s up, n—? I don’t forget sh—t,” before ordering his crew to attack Bush.

The lawsuit states Bush and his friends were then surrounded by 7-10 members of Brown’s entourage, who punched and kicked them. One member, known as Hood Boss, allegedly threw a chair at Bush’s head.

Parker, who reportedly is still hospitalized, claims he was chased into a dead-end staircase and beaten for over 10 minutes at Brown’s direction.

“This is Texas. The people here don’t care how important or famous you think you are, you have an obligation to follow the laws and conduct yourself in an appropriate way. Unprovoked violence can’t and won’t be tolerated,” Tony Buzbee, an attorney for the plaintiffs, said in a statement.

In addition to the damages, the four men are also seeking restraining orders against Brown and other alleged attackers — Yella Beezy and Sinko Ceej.

The lawsuit also highlighted several past legal issues involving the defendants, including Brown’s well-known 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown’s representatives did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
