Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and ex-Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway had dinner at an Upper East Side restaurant on Monday night — hours after a special House committee recommended her former boss and his onetime foe be slapped with criminal charges.
Giving new meaning to the idea that politics makes strange bedfellows, the duo dined at Il Postino on E. 61st St.
Conway was heard wishing Cuomo a “Buon Natale” — Italian for Merry Christmas — as they left in separate cars around 10:30 p.m.
She wore a winter coat with what appeared to be fur trim while Cuomo sported just a blazer in the cold temps.
Before resigning amid allegations of sexual misconduct last year, Cuomo made a point of bashing Trump as much as he could over issues including coronavirus response.
Conway had formally stepped down from her White House role by then, but was one of Trump’s fiercest defenders during her time as senior adviser to the president.
Shortly before the Monday night dinner, the House of Representatives’ Jan. 6 committee unanimously recommended criminal charges against Trump for seeking to overturn his election loss and inspiring the storming of the Capitol.
