Two men hit in shooting outside Brooklyn deli, one critically injured

Gunfire erupted outside a Brooklyn deli on Wednesday, hitting two men — one of them left clinging to life with a bullet wound to the head, police said.

The bloodshed took place outside Park Place Deli in Crown Heights on the corner of Classon Ave. and Park Place around 3:23 p.m. When cops arrived at the location, they found a 31-year-old victim with a bullet wound to the head, and a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

EMS rushed both victims to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where the younger victim was in critical condition, and the older man was in stable condition, police said.

There were no immediate arrests, and cops said it was unclear what sparked the violence.

Police are asking that anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
