Woman shoves 2 strangers onto Lower East Side subway tracks

Two women were shoved to the tracks by a stranger at a Lower East Side subway station early Monday but were not badly hurt, police said.

The victims were pushed by a woman off the uptown F train platform at the Delancey St.-Essex St. station about 2:15 a.m., cops said.

A good Samaritan helped the victims, ages 27 and 28, get back on the platform. There was no train coming into the station at the time.

Medics took the victims to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.

Cops patrolling the station ran over and arrested the attacker, police said. Charges against her were pending.

It was not immediately clear if the attack was unprovoked or if the suspect and victims had argued before the shove.
