Adams defends NYPD crackdown on low-level offenses, rejects he’s bringing back ‘broken windows’ policing

On Sunday, he reiterated calls for more assistance from the federal government. He called for a crackdown on “ghost guns,” weapons that people can assemble on their own with no serial numbers, and for more funding for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
