Maximizing Rewards

Since you earn one point per dollar on all purchases with the Mastercard Titanium Card, you can maximize your benefits simply by using the card. In addition, use your rewards points for airfare whenever possible, as there is a 2% value for airfare redemptions and 1% value for cash back redemptions.

Comparisons to Other Cards

Annual fee: A $195 annual fee is required for the Mastercard Titanium Card. The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card card requires a $95 annual fee.

Rewards: The Mastercard Titanium Card rewards program offers one point per dollar on purchases. Points can be redeemed for 2% value for airfare redemptions and 1% value for cash back redemptions. The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card offers three points per dollar on dining at restaurants, two points per dollar on travel and one point per dollar on all other purchases.

Sign-up bonus: The Mastercard Titanium Card does not offer a sign-up bonus. With the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, you earn 60,000 bonus points when you make after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
