The U.S. has already doled out about 160 million shots, more than the rest of the world’s nations combined, but the response has been called underwhelming. The World Health Organization and other international aid groups say it’s not fair that some fully vaccinated Americans are already getting booster shots before poor and vulnerable populations in developing nations receive the first dose.
