Colorado bill would ban businesses from prohibiting tips
If the Colorado Governor signs a bill passed by the state legislature, it will become unlawful for an employer to take adverse action against an employee for accepting a tip. A state senator who opposed the bill says, “We should probably rely on employers to know what is best for their customers and their employees.”
