He added that thousands of homeless New Yorkers who could’ve benefited from Caproni’s order have already been moved into shelters. More than 6,100 homeless people have been moved out of 41 hotels since the evictions began in July, according to a filing from the Department of Homeless Services this week. Another 1,900 people remain to be moved, the filing said.
