Former Congressman Max Rose is back on the ballot after winning the Democratic primary in New York’s 11th district on Tuesday night, fighting off progressive challenger Brittany Ramos DeBarros, according to the Associated Press.
NY-11 represents Staten Island and parts of southern Brooklyn, and Rose’s win means a rematch against the person who beat him in the latest election: Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.), who recently scored an endorsement from former President Donald Trump.
