NYC businesses begin vaccine mandate compliance: ‘It’s fourth down all over again’

The regs come amid major concerns about COVID case numbers. While New York City has been faring better than states with low vaccination rates, new cases are still rising in the Big Apple. As of Saturday, its seven-day average number of new cases was 1,767, according to the Health Department, up from 234 at the start of July.
