Opinion | Youth justice programs must also work with families

As a retired social worker, I was pleased to read about an innovative program to prevent youths from being caught up in the juvenile justice system. I did notice the absence of one critical component: family. Is there a plan to work directly with the families of these young people, or to coordinate with other community services to complement the work by this service?
