President Biden was greeted on the tarmac by Col. Stephen R. Gwinn, 103rd Airlift Wing Commander, with a salute and a smile. The president removed his black mask, though not his sunglasses, and tapped the colonel on his arm before turning to board Marine 1, which soon left for Brainard Airport in Hartford.
