Silent screams: New research finds plants ‘cry’ when stressed
In a new study, scientists managed to record the popping noises that plants make when dehydrated or under stress. But the sounds are so high-pitched, humans can’t hear them. CNN’s Michael Holmes spoke to Yossi Yovel, a co-author of the study, about what he and his team discovered.
